  • Do your prices change?
Prices can change without prior notice.

  •  How do I confirm my booking?
When you make your booking, the photographer will sms you banking details and email you her package options. Full payment should be paid into the bank account, 48hrs after your booking, in order to confirm your shoot.

As we are extremely popular studios, we cannot hold your booking for longer than 48 hours without payment.
Additional photographic products [enlargements, framing etc] can be paid when you place your order.

  • Are packages refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable.

  • I am pregnant. When is the best time to book?
The best time for your shoot is 1 month prior to your due date. It is best to book well in advance.

  • Do you have family shoots?
We do intimate group photographs of families.

  • How many adults/children are allowed at a shoot?
A maximum of four adults [over 13 years] and maximum 5 children.

  • What do I wear?

The trick is to keep it simple.

We recommend that everyone wears clothing that is co-ordinated - ie. all white and denims, or all pinks and whites, etc. Denim always works well.

Brights, pales and whites work well on white. Brights and/or dark work well on black.

For black and white photos - black/dark clothing against the black background works wonderfully, and White/Pale clothing against the white background.

We recommend that you bring some of your favourite items with you to the shoot to make the photographs more personal.
Hats, especially caps and straw hats are always winners, sunshades for girls, as well as LARGE toys, like big balls, teddies, bikes also work well.

Please avoid bringing sweets and snacks - these inevitably land up in the shoot - try feeding everyone before you visit.
If your baby is teething, or spitty, try giving a powder [Ashton and Parsens works well] just before the shoot.
If baby is sleeping, please don't wake baby up - even if it is messing a little with routine - sleeping baby pics are just adorable!
Also, please refrain from taking out keys and cellphones to entice smiles whilst in the studio. [these also land up in the pics!]
Pjamas, swimwear, and rainwear tend to also work well.

Please try and avoid busy or branded [Brats, Barbie, Spiderman etc] outfits - unless you want a rockstar/superhero shoot!

  • Do you provide various backdrops/props?
Whilst black and white backdrops remain popular, we have a few other options, such as Sage Green and Mottled Brown etc.  - backdrops may vary between the studios, according to the photographer's style. We recommend the best backdrops to suite your skin/hair colour and outfit choices when you arrive at the studio.
Props are kept simple.

We always recommend that you bring some personal items from home to include in your shoot, to make your photographs unique to you!

  • How long does a shoot take?
Maternity shoots take +- 45 minutes alone, and 1 hr with a partner.
Newborns and babies - we go at the babies pace, though generally 1.5 hrs is sufficient.
Children - This depends on the nature of the child, the number of props and clothing changes. Usually 1 - 1.5 hrs is sufficient.
Family [4 adults] - between 1 - 1.5 hrs.
Weekdays are quieter and more relaxed, and therefore more flexible. NB Should you arrive late, less time is allocated to your shoot.

Editing is an art, and we take time on your images, to ensure the best quality and standard.
The festive season over November and December is particularly busy, so please book these shoots well in advance to avoid disappointment.
